Abstract

TORRES, Jennifer Batista  and  PENA, Reynaldo Jorge Lam. Labor Rights and Work in the Cuban Constitution. UH [online]. 2021, n.291  Epub Jan 01, 2021. ISSN 0253-9276.

The fundamental objective of this article is to shed light on the legal content of labor and labor rights within the framework of the new Constitution. Therefore, the new configuration of the so-called social labor rights was addressed and the doctrine of the International Labor Organization (ILO) on decent work and rights at work was taken into account. All this is justified by the new conception of the Cuban socialist state based on the rule of law and social justice founded on work.

Keywords : right to work; decent employment; rights at work; dignity; Cuba.
