Abstract

ORDOQUI BALDRICHE, Julio Arturo et al. Validity and Reliability of a Self-evaluation Field Test in Cuban High Performance Boxing. UH [online]. 2021, n.291  Epub Jan 01, 2021. ISSN 0253-9276.

The objective of this work was to examine the validity and reliability of a self-evaluation test that uses free training with gloves as a framework for psychological evaluation in the Cuban high performance boxing population. This instrument has as a theoretical reference the constructs adapted from partial self-evaluations of performance and psychological control during training. The evidence gathered for its validation was of a concurrent type, through the criterion of contrasted groups. The reliability of its results was determined by the criterion of temporal stability of the measurements or test-retest type. The instrument demonstrated that the interpretations derived from its application show high validity and high stability of its measurements to perform an accurate and specific psychological control of the Cuban high performance boxers training.
