Abstract

LOPEZ PEREZ, Anier. An editorial management model for scientific journals. UH [online]. 2022, n.294  Epub June 01, 2022. ISSN 0253-9276.

Scientific publications are historical, socially conditioned products. Editorial management processes undergo constant revision and updating in the search for continuous improvements that favor the communication of science. A concept of editorial management is proposed that covers from conceptualization to post-publication and includes aspects of information literacy. The proposal of an editorial management model structured in five dimensions and 47 indicators is presented. This editorial management system offers the possibility of outlining strategies to achieve these goals and to position the publication in the academic space to which it contributes.
