The work proposes the analysis of the work of Virginia Felicia Auber de Moya, daughter of the French naturalist Pedro Alejandro Auber, born in La Coruña, around 1825, although she developed her life in Cuba. Felicia, as she was known in the journalistic world, contributed to the collection of costumbrist works Los cubanos pintados por sí mismos (1852), of great renown in the Cuban 19th century. Her greatest popularity was obtained with the Sunday bulletins that first appeared in La Gaceta de La Habana.
