Abstract

LABRADA ESPINOSA, Adalis  and  VIDEAUX VIDEAUX, Sonia. The Environmental Culture in the Medicine Career . Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2018, vol.37, n.2, pp. 141-150. ISSN 0257-4314.

Aimed at deepening the preparation of medicine career students in Bayamo Medical Sciences Branch, four workshops of pedagogical nature were carried out; two directed towards students and two to the teachers. The present work shows the process in detail, and it concluded that there are marked insufficiencies in the pedagogical preparation of these students which affect the formation of the environmental culture in the career. The limitations in the incorporation of the environmental dimension in the disciplines, insufficient knowledge related to this culture and the lack in the process´ dynamics, resulted in the creation of short and medium term strategies for their solution. A review of the medical career programs was carried out. Therefore, the elaboration of a pedagogical model for the formation of the environmental culture in these students is projected as a solution of impact to the insufficiencies found.

Keywords : students of medicine; training; culture of the environment.
