Abstract

RUIZ GONZALEZ, Tania Rosa  and  VALIENTE MARQUEZ, Jorge Félix. Experiences in Face-to-Face Lessons at Regular Intervals, Gained at a University Division of Technical Sciences. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2019, vol.38, n.2  Epub Aug 01, 2019. ISSN 0257-4314.

The approach to education that combines independent study and face-to-face lessons at regular intervals consider these to be parts of blended learning, which make student-teacher, and student-student contacts possible, so student potential will be developed, and the foundations of joint work laid, which is essential in a time whose characteristic feature is precisely multidisciplinary teamwork. Enhancing the ability to collaborate makes professionals be more qualified for working life. Both students and teachers are required to be prepared in advance for face-to-face lessons at regular intervals, because these are very demanding. This work deals with experiences therein gained at a University Division of Technical Sciences, located in the Havana municipality of 10 de Octubre.

Keywords : blended learning; face-to-face lessons at regular intervals combined with independent study; teaching-learning process.
