Abstract

Cuba has gathered a great deal of experience in improving curricula, using other countries’ experiences therein as models, and profiting greatly from its teachers’ training in methodology, teaching, and applied research, and development. In response to the country’s social and productivity needs which other Latin American countries also have, the Center for Studies on Maintenance Engineering at the Technological University of Havana has suggested a Maintenance Engineering curriculum which is presented in this paper.
