Abstract

The nursing teacher training system proposed for the University of Guayaquil in Ecuador has philosophical, psychopedagogical, teaching, and nursing profession and practice-related bases, which contributes to continuing education. The Delphi method was used. The system has specific goals, is flexible, and contextualized. It has three subsystems - Fundamentals of Pedagogy, Pedagogical Updating, and Pedagogical Innovation.
