Abstract

MARQUEZ VALDES, Annia María; ACOSTA BANDOMO, Rafael Urbano  and  FERNANDEZ CACERES, Marta Emilia. Validation of the Research Skills Profile for Students in the Degree Course in Physical Culture. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2020, vol.39, n.3  Epub Oct 01, 2020. ISSN 0257-4314.

The promotion of research skills is one of the requirements of professional training in the Bachelor of Physical Culture. In today's society, the use of artisanal, rudimentary or purely empirical methods in the teaching-learning process is not conceived. Due to the relevance given to the formation of research competences in the future professionals of Physical Culture at Sancti Spíritus, in the present work a profile of research competences is elaborated for the students of the career in which the variables, indicators and criteria to measure their performance are established. The elaboration of this profile is based on a diagnosis and a bibliographical study of the subject. The profile was submitted to the method of experts' criteria, which assured that it was very adequate regarding its contextualization, organizational structure, actuality, scientificity and integral character, and valued as quite adequate its objectivity.

Keywords : research skills; physical culture; teaching-learning process.
