Abstract

The Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (CUJAE), with the aim of improving the quality of its management and complying with the quality standards established for higher education in Cuba, defined in its strategic project for the period 2017-2021 to integrate the quality management system to the improvement plan determined from the institutional evaluation and the system of evaluation and accreditation of higher education (SEAES). To comply with this strategy, it was necessary to carry out an analysis of the models established for quality management in universities, with a view to arriving at a procedure that establishes the activities to be carried out to accredit a degree. The main objective of the work was to establish a guide for the accreditation of careers by the CUJAE. The main results obtained are related to the design of a procedure for planning and organizing the process of career accreditation.
