In the career of Electrical Engineering, which is studied in the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (CUJAE), the subject Electrical Systems I is taught, where students must solve four virtual laboratories on the basis of problem-based learning (ABP) that allows them to link theory with practice. This work shows the characteristics of the laboratories, their impact on the teaching-learning process and on the degree of satisfaction of the students. The results show that when applying the ABP in the laboratories and linking them to the solution of real problems, the promotion and quality indexes of the grades increase, the degree of satisfaction with the subject is the highest in the career and more than 90% of the students and 100% of the specialists have a positive view about the methodology used in the laboratories.
