Abstract

GARCIA VELEZ, Karen Andrea; ORTIZ CARDENAS, Tania  and  CHAVEZ LOOR, María Dolores. Relevance and Domain of the Teacher's Digital Competences in Higher Education. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2021, vol.40, n.3  Epub July 01, 2021. ISSN 0257-4314.

For the higher education teacher, mastering digital skills is of utmost importance. In order to carry out a review of the state of the art of this affair, questions were raised that projected the general horizon of a descriptive-exploratory research, where articles were consulted in electronic databases. In the scientific literature, there are multiple definitions and perspectives that refer to digital competences, and it is demonstrated, given the current paradigm, the need to assume the most transcendental positions in terms of their training and development in educators since these are inherent to their professional qualification. The competitive university teacher will have to show a mastery of digital competences and skills in techniques in the computer area.
