Abstract

MORALES FABREGA, Alberto Miguel; SANCHEZ OMS, Alberto Bautista  and  PERDOMO OGANDO, Juan Manuel. Methodology for perfection of the technique of the first phase of 100 meters flat race. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2022, vol.41, n.1  Epub Mar 01, 2022. ISSN 0257-4314.

There are many elements that can justify Cuba's poor results in the 100 meter (m) dash from the 80's; however, it is important to point out that for this sporting discipline, the first phase of the race is decisive in the sporting result. of this test despite its brevity, since a bad start conditions the resulting acceleration of the athlete and therefore a later acquisition of maximum speed. Hence, a review was made of the specialized literature, of the methodological documents that regulate this test and of the methodologies for teaching and improving the technique of this career, which made it possible to verify that there is a lack of a methodological procedure for the improvement of the technique of this phase in the youth sprinters. From all the above, the objective was derived: to design a methodology to improve the technique of the first career steps of youth sprinters. Among the methods used, the following stand out: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, modeling, documentary review, survey, qualitative interview, methodological and source triangulation, open and participatory techniques, mathematical-statistical, biomechanical analysis and the criteria of users. The characteristics of the competitive and biomechanical activity of the technique of the first phase of the 100 m sprint in youth athletes allowed sustaining and elaborating the proposed methodology, with which the users were satisfied.
