Abstract

The research work presented constitutes the doctoral topic of one of its authors. Its objective is to explain the note- taking process from oral texts and its importance for students of the Access to Higher Education Course (CAES), in the Spanish as a Second Language Class, at the School of Spanish for Non- Spanish Speakers in Havana University. This skill is referred to as a fundamental question for the understanding of the contents and the individual study of the students. It is also intended to contribute to the achievement of their communicative competence and a better performance during their studies at the Higher Education Institutions in Cuba (HEI). The didactic strategy designed to develop the teaching of note- taking in classes is presented E/L2 in CAES, elementary level.
