Spathoglottis is a terrestrial orchid genus original from the southwest of Asia, naturalized in Cuba, it is considered as a plant of easy cultivation. This paper presents the main characteristics of a new hybrid of Spathoglottis. ´Ecos de Festivalia´ is the result of the pollination between Spathoglottis plicata var. dark and Spathoglottis unguiculata, in April 2009. This new hybrid has a high ornamental potentiality society of England in Orchids Review Supplement 120 (1299)
