Abstract

A review of a group of scientific papers where different alterations of hemostasis in virus diseases are reported is made. Thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopathies and the presence of lupus anticoagulants are the most frequent. Reference is made to the studies conducted at the Institute of Hematology and Immunology during the epidemic of dengue the occurred in Cuba in 1981
