Abstract

GUERREIRO HERNANDEZ, Ana M et al. Determination of antinuclear antibodies in autoimmune hemolytic anemia and autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura. Rev Cubana Hematol Inmunol Hemoter [online]. 2002, vol.18, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-2996.

The presence of antinuclear antibodies was detected by an indirect immunofluorescence method in one of the 18 studied patients with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and in 3 of the 16 patients with autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura. The results showed the importance of the detection of antinuclear antibodies as an indicating element of the existence or development of another associated autoimmune disease
