Abstract

AGRAMONTE DEL SOL, Alain; MELON RODRIGUEZ, Raquel G  and  PENA FERNANDEZ, Ángel J. Proposal of a methodological guide to develop values among the nursing students. Rev Cubana Enfermer [online]. 2005, vol.21, n.2, pp. 1-1. ISSN 1561-2961.

In addition to development and learning, it is necessary to create in the student the values and feelings characteristic of man as a social being. The society in its historical course has accumulated moral, religious, political and juridical values, among others, that are part of the most precious elements of its culture. The citizen, the young individual, has to appropriate of these values as part of his preparation and, if it is attained, he is considered an educated person. Nursing as a profession that is included in that disciplinary group improves its acting, too. To this end, a bibliographic review on the topic of values was made, and a Methodological Guide was proposed to prepare an Educative Working Plan based on the theoretical assumptions found in the search. The intention is that since the first year of the nursing students' training, the teaching team begins to work in order to attain from the teaching setting, the excellence in the health services.
