Abstract
ALARCON ARGOTA, Rodolfo; COELLO LARREA, Jeorgelina; CABRERA GARCIA, Julio and MONIER DESPEINE, Guadalupe. Influence factors in adolescence pregnancy. Rev Cubana Enfermer [online]. 2009, vol.25, n.1-2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-2961.
Adolescence is a stage present during childhood to go as far as adulthood. Is a period characterizing by deep physical, psychological, and social changes, where it is difficult to establish chronologic limits necessary for this essential stage from 10 to 19 years old. We made an observational and analytical study of cases and control from all the pregnants adolescents and delivered (cases), and another group of female no-pregnant adolescents (controls) from "José Martí Pérez" Polyclinic during 2007. We demonstrated that there was a causal association among factors depending of family and personal life of the adolescents, and the early pregnancy incidence. Poor relationships with their parents, no spiritual and economic support of couple, no steady couple relationships, and not talk with the parents on sexuality and reproduction features, were factors that if they were assessed, it will be possible to achieve a greater impact on exposed population.
