Abstract

The nurse training is extensive and diverse. Were students begun to acquire the theoretical scientific knowledge in combination with the practical knowledge which is defined as knowledge that is obtained from a given sitaution and work experiences of nursing assistants. With the aim of raising awareness of the importance of knowledge acquired in practice and its relevance as a learning process for the professional nursing analysis of the theory from beginner to expert Patricia Benner, who studies the clinical nursing practice, to describe the knowledge that sustains. It was concluded that practical knowledge has allowed the development of nursing research; training has changed structures of future nursing professionals in various fields and the creation of empirical indicators that favored the union between theory and practice of nursing.
