Abstract

A documentary study of the teaching principles was conducted to reflect on their application to the nursing graduate education and their importance for the scientific management of the teaching process. This study recognized the general, fundamental, essential and compulsory character of these principles, which conditions their systematization. The validity of the system of didactic principles set in the Cuban higher education as well as of the theory of Marxist-Leninist knowledge and of the Cuban pedagogic set of ideas was accepted, which allowed substantiating the expressed ideas. It was concluded that the teaching principles emerge as a generalization of the pedagogic practice, they reflect the objective laws of this process and at the same time, they function as a unit, which makes them valid for all the professor's activities in education.
