Abstract

MARQUEZ MORALES, Nidia. Estrategia de cambio en instituciones de atención primaria de salud. Rev Cubana Med Gen Integr [online]. 2001, vol.17, n.6, pp. 589-591. ISSN 1561-3038.

An investigation on health services was made using the models proposed for the diagnosis of an organization. It was applied to 100 % of the workers by departments with the utilization of several models. The vision and mission of the departments and of the health area were designed with the participation of all workers. The flow of the outpatient interconsultation processes was rearranged and it decreased from 30 to 7 days, resulting in a higher satisfaction for the patient and the doctor. The managerial activities that prevented the doctor from doing his work with more time and effectiveness were also reorganized.
