Abstract

REYES SIGARRETA, Migdalia Rafaela; GARRIDO GARCIA, Rolando José; BALADO SANZON, Rogelio  and  LLANES ALVAREZ, María Rosa. Grado de satisfacción de los médicos de familia con el procedimiento de ingreso domiciliario. Rev Cubana Med Gen Integr [online]. 2003, vol.19, n.5, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3038.

A descriptive cross-sectional study was made about the level of satisfaction of family physicians working in polyclinics located in Cerro municipality in the year 2000 as well as the interrelation with hospital admission. The objectives were to describe and compare the level of satisfaction of physicians per health care area and to disclose the difficulties encountered as to home care and hospital admission. It was concluded that the level of satisfaction of basic work teams with home care services is fundamentally affected by lack of resources; the criteria for home care generally coincide with the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health; the working duties of family physicians do not encourage them to accompany their adult patients to hospital for admission when required so and there are difficulties in the interrelation between health care areas and the clinical-surgical hospital.

Keywords : HOME CARE SERVICES; PHYSICIANS, FAMILY.
