Some therapeutic recommendations for the treatment of heart failure are made. It has become an increasing health problem due to the population aging and to the rise of survival among cardiopathic patients. The recommended therapeutic options are directed to attain a better quality of life of the patients, for which the comprehension of the physiopathological processes of this disease is vital.
