Abstract

INTRODUCTION: eroticism is the sexuality element identifying the experiences known the sexual ones by the pleasant behavior of body experiences personally lived and the interaction with others. OBJECTIVES: to identify some features of eroticism in third age (erogenous zones, presence or not of sexual activity, type of frequency of sexual intercourse in married old age persons). METHODS: authors made a descriptive and of non-intervention study. Sample included 205 old age patients seen in "Aleida Fernández" polyclinic of La Lisa municipality in Havana City from January to May, 2008. RESULTS: among the main results we had that married state predominated in women, the main erogenous zones were the genitals ones, there was a 57,3% of married women, and a 70 % of married men with sexual activity, the frequency of predominating sexual intercourse was the fortnightly, and the type of predominating sexual intercourse was the penetration in married adult men. CONCLUSIONS: genitals were the main erogenous zone explored by both sexes, the frequency of more frequent sexual intercourse was the fortnightly one, and the type of sexual intercourse was the penetration.
