Results:

The obtained results showed 41.51% of people with metabolic syndrome, with a predominance of people aged 70 years and older (54.54%) and the female sex (93.18%). One hundred percent had blood pressure values over or equal to 130/85 mmHg. One hundred percent of the patients did not have any knowledge of their disease.
