Abstract

The higher education institutions should educate students so that they become well informed and deeply motivated citizens provided with a critical sense and capable of analyzing the problems, find solutions, apply them and assume social responsibilities. To attain these objectives, it may be necessary to reformulate the syllabuses, to use new and adequate methods, to facilitate the access to new pedagogical and didactic statements and promote them, to propitiate the acquisition of practical knowledge, competences and attitudes for the communication, the creative and critical analysis, the independent reflexion and the team work.
