Abstract

Authors made a research with students of the New Program of Physician Training in Sandino, Pinar del Río province to confirm how the professional motivation influences on academic results of I Human Morphophysiology as subject. Data were obtained by surveys, motivation techniques and carrying out of a structure interview of Bolivian students. For data processing we used the descriptive statistics, with summary measures for qualitative variables, absolute values and percentages. Results are presented in statistic tables and charts allowing a better interpretation and elaboration of conclusions and recommendations. We verified the existence of differences from the qualitative point of view regards professional motivation in relation to academic yield of students that could be valuable to develop educational actions in that respect.
