Abstract

SANTA EULALIA MAINEGRA, José Marcos. Characterization of the frequent evaluation during the meeting of the faculty within the learning evaluation modality. Educ Med Super [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.4, pp. 488-501. ISSN 0864-2141.

The present research study was conducted to characterize the frequent evaluation in Human Morphophysiology III subject during the meeting of the faculty, within the learning evaluation modality of the National Program of Medical Formation of Comprehensive Community Medicine in Simon Bolivar municipality, Anzoategui state during the 2006-2007 academic course. To this end, qualitative and quantitative research methods were used as an expression of the methodological triangulation considered by the author. This system of methods included empirical, theoretical and statistical procedures. Two questionnaires, one for the 161 first-year students from Simon Bolivar municipality and the other for 23 Human Morphophysiology III professors, were applied. The main results yielded that the written evaluation was the fundamental one in frequent evaluation, the evaluations conformed to the specific objectives of the subject and that this type of evaluation was well accepted by students and professors alike, although the latter were less experienced as educators. The study managed to characterize the modality of learning evaluation in the multi-purpose classroom during the teaching of Human Morphophysiology III within the National Program of Formation in Comprehensive Community Medicine in Simon Bolivar municipality, Anzoategui state.
