Abstract

Schleritis necroticans is a chronic rare granulomatous disease of the sclera. The case of a 63-year-old female patient with this affection is presented. The ophthalmological manifestations as well as the associated processes are stressed, and it is underlined the importance of an early diagnosis for an adequate treatment.
