Abstract

DOMINGUEZ RANDULFE, Marerneda et al. Secondary glaucoma as elevated episcleral venous pressure in Crest syndrome. Rev Cubana Oftalmol [online]. 2017, vol.30, n.4, pp. 1-6. ISSN 1561-3070.

Secondary glaucoma as elevated episcleral venous pressure associated to Crest syndrome is a rare condition often refractory to clinical or surgical therapy. Exhaustive anamnesis, exploration and imaging should be conducted to find the possible cause and thus implement successful management of the sufferer, both systemically and ophthalmologically. Glaucoma surgery may be complicated in these cases.

Keywords : episcleral venous pressure; intraocular pressure; secondary glaucoma.
