Abstract

Algunos hechos asociados al desarrollo de la beneficencia en Cuba hasta el siglo XVIII. Rev Cubana Salud Pública [online]. 2000, vol.26, n.1, pp. 63-67. ISSN 1561-3127.

Some of the most important events connected with the upsurge and evolution of charity in Cuba as a branch of Public Health until the l8th century are mentioned and briefly commented here. The poor development this important social activity had up to the end of that century in spite of the great incomes received from Spain is also approached.
