Abstract

With the objective of analyzing the function of the information professional as an information architect, as well as the origin and affiliation of the professionals that write about information architecture, organization and design, a search was carried out on the registered literature, different databases and search engines related to the subject. A group of theoretical-conceptual aspects is explored related to this subject, as well as the origin and affiliation of the professionals that write about this object of study. The information professional, due to his know-how on organization and presentation of the information, can perform as architect of efficient information websites.
