Abstract

A proposal of the steps and aspects to be evaluated in the diagnosis of managerial information systems in the Cuban enterprises is presented.  The characterization of the organization is fundamental as an element that differentiates the information management for each particular company. The analysis of the external and internal information subsystems, the technical judgement of the computer equipment and the diagnosis of other resources necessary for the management of information, constitute the rest of the objects of analysis. As annexes, you can find the interview guide, as well as the guides for the observation and for the documentary analysis; and the basic techniques to be used in this type of study.
