Abstract

The consequences and impact of the scientific and technical revolution on the educative and professional training of health technologists, particularly in the light of the new pedagogical model created for health sciences education in Cuba, are analyzed. In this context, the categories science, technique and tyechnology are characterized and interrelated. The current development of science and its influence on the integral cultural formation of the new public health professionals, as well as the necessary aspects for educators in this sector, are studied.
