Von Reclinghausen's disease is a hereditary condition affecting 1 for every 3000-4000 live births, thoug the rate may be higher in some places. the case of a 43 years-old female patient is a presented. she is was operated on for apendicitis after a three - day course pain. endotraqueal intubation proved difficulty during surgery, and the patient overreacted whe given neuromuscular blocking drug. the clinical picture of disease is revised along with associated conditions and their effects in regards to anesthesia.
