Abstract

A descriptive study was performed for knowing the behavior of diagnostic criteria of lupus erytematosus disseminatus in patients with lupic nephropathy admitted at Manuel Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital of Camaguey during 1996-2000; the universe was composed of 20 patients whose data were processed through a computer; the most frequent nephritis levels were: IV (56, 66 %), II (36, 66 %) and V(6, 66 %). Renal disorders was present in 100 %, of the universe, followed by the immunologic disorder, non erosive artrhitis, hematologic disturbance and pathosensibility. Positivy of antinuclear antibodies (90 %), leucopenia (73, 33 %), LE cells (66, 67 %), proteinuria (63, 33 %), and anti DNAdc antibodies (60 %) prevailed. Nephritis, level IV grouped the higher rates of positivity.
