Abstract

RODRIGUEZ ACOSTA, Regino; PEREZ MAS, Aida; BAEZ MEDINA, René  and  PEREZ, Dennis. Rheumatoid arthrities. Diagnostic criteria and radiological severity. AMC [online]. 2002, vol.6, suppl.1, pp. 775-783. ISSN 1025-0255.

A descriptive study was performed with the purpose of relating diagnostic criterio of rheumatoid arthritis and radiological severity in all patients diagnosed at Manuel Ascunce Domenech provincial hospital during 1996 to 2000. The universe was composed of 33 patients who data were prosseced using MICROSTAT program. Silk patients over 46 years old (69, 7 %) prevailed, white skin (57, 57 %); the most frequent Larsen's radiological index was grade III with 42, 43 %. As to diagnostic criterio, matinal rigidity, bilateralism and symmetry, as well as radiological changes affected to 100 % of patients, followed for arthritis of hands and positive rheumatoid factor, in all of them higher porcentages presented in grade III of radiological severity.
