Abstract

A femenine receptor of a kidney transplatation, alive donor for eleven years is described she at present has kidney normofunction and at the time of transplantation had normal breasts in the Nephrology Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital of Camagüey. In May 2001, she was performed mammoplasty form medical prescription, it was not stetic for presenting secondary bilateral gigantomastia provoked by the continuous administration of the immunosuppressive therapy she received after the kidney transplation. Cyclosporine was suspended a years posterior to transplantation. It is the first case of kidney transplanstation in this province to whom mammoplasty is practiced with successful evolution and total healing of the surgical act, without sequelae, with normal kidney function at discharge and she was evaluated for three years without apparent complications.
