Abstract

Acute keratoconus in children results from a rupture in Descemt membrane, followed by leakage of aquous humor toward the inner corneal of the stroma,  which causes enlargement, opaqueness, and edematous noise in the corneal epithelium, the frequency rate of acute keratoconus with penetrating keratoplasty throuhg early treatment of progressive keratoconus with penetrating keratopasty. This paper reports on two cases of acute keratoconus in children by discussing the clinical features of such an entity.
