Abstract

A case of male patient was reported, white, 34 years old, with health history, inveterate smoker, who during sexual intercourse with his wife, heard a click, presented acute and intense pain in the penis, accompanied by loss of erection, rapid increase in volume and color change, so he went to the University Hospital "Manuel Ascunce Domenech" Camagüey, diagnosed penile fracture. Through spinal regional anesthesia, surgical treatment was performed, obtaining favorable results with discharge 24 hours later. The fracture of the penis is a rare entity in our environment, if not diagnosed and treated early, it could influence the future of the patient.
