In the National Program for Elimination of Mosquito Aedes aegypti in Cuba it is argued that quality is the responsibility of the management chain of health areas and groups of quality control in the municipalities, province and central level. However, the authors of this work believe that there must be a group to evaluate the quality of actions taken after breeding sites detection, therefore they propose a methodology to implement the brigade for controlling Aedes aegypti breeding sites as a new strategy for ensure the quality in vector control, in which the objectives, mission, vision, and composition and functions of members of this brigade are stated, as well as means, products and world of work, besides other important aspects that should be considered in eliminating mosquito.
