The case report of a 63 year patient, with history of chronic constipation who attended Santa Johana health institution in the municipality of Itamarandiba, Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, is presented due to tiredness, fatigue, constipation and enlarged abdomen.These symptoms were related to a chagasic colon enlargement; therefore, he was referred to Itamarandiba Municipal Hospital where surgical treatment was indicated.
