Science and technology, innovation and university extension play an important role, either in the professional training or in the knowledge production. As social necessities rise, the investigation on the arithmetic relationship between both factors and the training dynamics in these institutions is unavoidable to satisfy the demands of the social context with relevancy and impact levels. Today is very important not only the relationship of the university with its environment, but also taking into account the meaning of this relationship, who the actors and managers of the context are, as well as the strategy from the practical point of view to overlap environments and actors from the investigative process. In the work a logical sequence is presented to achieve in dentistry career students a scientific and investigative training
