Abstract

SOLARANA ORTIZ, Joaquín Alejandro et al. Report of a Patient with Noniatrogenic Posttraumatic Chyloperitoneum. CCM [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.3, pp. 375-380. ISSN 1560-4381.

A  51- year- old male patient, white race and urban origin that was  assisted at Surgery Emergency Service, with abdominal pain, with 24 hours of evolution, after abdominal trauma (4 days before the patient came to this service in digestive period), of moderate intensity without specific irradiation that was treated with analgesic. After the physical examination and the emergency labs test, noniatrogenic posttraumatic chylousperitoneum was diagnosed and this corroborated by laparoscopy that confirmed with the cytological exam of the free liquid in the abdominal cavity. The patient was admitted and conservative treatment was given with satisfactory results.
