Abstract

This is the second part of the article entitled: “Basic demands for the development of the Cuban pediatric surgeon”. To declare the principles, premises and methods that were used as tools to achieve a faster and sustainable development of the specialty. Regularities of the results of 37 years of assistance, pedagogical and research work of the author were analyzed. Seven principles, four organizational methods, five premises and one determinant result were identified. The existing relations between the organizational methods created to apply the principles and premises were showed. Finally, a summary of its relevance was made as well as its influence upon the development of the specialty. The regularities or the work of the author allow to identify principles, premises and methods that lead to the planning of a methodological conception; besides, there are direct relations between the different principles and methods and among them. That is why the approach must always be systemic for its understanding and implementation
