Abstract

Public Health’s main goal is to work for people’s wellbeing. Our analysis presents civic participation in Public Health, from scientific studies to its evolution, nowadays. Outputs show the leading role of citizens as boosters, generators and controllers of their own wellbeing and their community. Public health politics are formed by strategies and programs focused on citizens. Cuban public health policy includes maximal civic participation. In this work, we show examples of some of these programs.
