CRUZ TRIANA, Ariel; MARTINEZ COCA, Benedicto and RIVERO GONZALEZ, Deyanira. Effect of Metabolites and Spores of the Fungus Sarocladium oryzae Sawada on several Poaceas. Fitosanidad [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.3, pp. 151-154. ISSN 1818-1686.
The infective ability of the fungus S. oryzae on rice (Oryza sativa, L.), sorghum (Sorghum vulgare, Pers.), barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus galli (L.) Beauv.) and maize (Zea maiz, Lin.) was studied. Spores and metabolites of S. oryzae were inoculated on each plant, then it wasevaluated the attack index. Results showed that rice was the main host of the fungus S. oryzae, although sorghum and barnyard grass were also infected.
