Abstract

CASAS CHIA, Grisel  and  LAFARGUE HECHAVARRIA, Sandra. Mites Catalogue of Santiago de Cuba province. Fitosanidad [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.3, pp. 155-162. ISSN 1818-1686.

Mites detected in the Province Santiago of Cuba from 1977 to 2002 are given to know in this catalogue. They were classified in 77 species of mites belonging to 14 families and 26 genuses, besides the Order Oribatei. It is listed the host, the distribution known at province and the year of collection. From the 77 species, one constitutes a new record for the mite fauna of the country. A list of 86 host plant, stored products and others, with the mites species founded in them, also appears, 66 reports of new host plants for the country are showed
