Abstract
DOMINGOS DA SILVA, Divaldo; MARTINEZ GONZALEZ, Yoel and JIMENEZ SAEZ, Gerardo Crescencio. Mathematical modeling as a strategy for the design of urban stormwater drainage networks. riha [online]. 2016, vol.37, n.3, pp. 3-17. ISSN 1680-0338.
This article describes the procedure for implementing a strategy for the design of urban stormwater drainage networks with use of mathematical modeling and the results achieved are discussed. It is based upon the Sanitation Director Plan of the city of Luanda, the study by the Technical Unit of Luanda Sanitation Office (UTGSL) to the Marzal basin and data from various sources and scales, so that it meets requirements required by simulation models suitable for the study of hydrological processes in an urban environment.
Keywords : urban storm drainage; mathematical modeling; network drainage.
